I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor licensed in Utah and Oregon (LPC). I have been practicing since 2008 and love being a therapist. I work with a wide range of clients – depression, anxiety, addiction, and grief/loss are primary emphases. I also have extensive experience with relationship issues, parenting problems, and women’s issues.
I enjoy working closely with my clients to help them find a better, happier, and healthier life. I focus on person-centered therapy – using unconditional positive regard, emotional support, and a variety of specialized therapeutic techniques.
My main priority is to give you a place where you feel safe and understood, so we can focus on setting goals, improving, and healing. All communication and sessions will be tailored to meet your specific situation and needs.
I provide live chat sessions - if you are looking for weekly phone/video sessions, I will not be your best fit. You can also send me messages (via text, video, or voice). I have session availability on Wednesdays and Fridays only.
I look forward to working with you and helping you move forward in life.

This has been my third week meeting with Amanda, and she is great. She helped me narrow down the cause of my initial concerns and desires to meet with a therapist, and we are working on understanding the cycle of anxiety, what it looks like in my life, and ways to overcome my anxiety. She is very thoughtful and kind, and I definitely recommend her to those looking to try therapy for the first time like me.
