About Me

Are you looking for assistance in navigating through some of life's obstacles?

Are you ready to unveil the best version of yourself?

Then look no further!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been in the profession of offering support and guidance to others for 10+ years. I graduated from SUNY Stonybrook with a B.A. in Psychology, and a specialization in Child and Family Studies; I earned a MSW degree from CUNY Lehman, later obtaining clinical licensure. Some of my counseling experiences stem from managing stress/anxiety and symptoms of depression, family conflict, anger management, life transitions, challenges with body image, self-esteem, improving communication skills, women's issues, and challenges with parenting, among others.

Through a humanistic approach based in solution-focused therapy, I am able to actively listen and assist with various challenges from a place of non-judgment, honesty, and a strengths-based perspective . Sessions are centered around your needs and personalized goal planning.

As a culturally competent therapist, I am a firm believer that EVERY client deserves to be treated with respect and dignity in every circumstance; this is the only foundation for truly successful therapy.
I look forward to walking with you on your journey toward positive mental health.

Amanda is amazing. She has a way with worlds and helping you see the bigger picture. Initially I felt a little apprehensive about therapy especially with having to do everything online but Amanda eased that process and made me feel very comfortable and I gladly appreciated her advice. Thankyou again.
