About me

Hello, I am glad you are seeking support. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida since 2019. I have worked with clients as young as 2 years old to seniors over 100 on issues such as grief and loss, gender issues, parenting concerns, relationships, anxiety, depression, day to day life stressors, trauma and self-love. I use a client centered, strength based approach in assisting clients to meet their goals. The ability to apply compassionate care has helped each individual client with issues that supports them in meeting their needs. I use a therapeutic approach based on communication skills that include trauma informed care, cognitive behavioral practices, solution focused interventions and motivational interviewing. All stemming from a holistic person-centered approach. My professional experience has been working in clinical settings, residential settings, community settings as well as schools.

Taking the first step in building your mental health as well as having a trusting therapeutic relationship with someone who cares. We can work together toward managing life stressors to find healthy coping tools and eventually freedom. The therapeutic integration I strive for is one of acceptance, empathy, compassion, empowerment, dignity and respect. It is of the utmost importance for me to ensure the highest level of quality care to make sure it is tailored to meet your needs.

Amanda is one of a kind , she is a good listener and will make you feel really listened to. Shows a deep sympathy with all my crap but really professional in handling it. She has a good emotional regulation and she will help you meet your goal with all the advices, practicals, and self affirmations. She will help you love yourself and make yourself feel value and loved. She’s also very nice and fun to talk too. I will definitely recommend her !
