About me

Welcome! I am so glad you have found yourself here and I'm excited to connect with you. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and have been counseling since 2014. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Women and Gender Studies from Texas A&M University. I completed my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling from the University of North Texas. I've had the joy of experiencing counseling in multiple settings including schools, private practice, and nonprofit organizations. I have developed a nonprofit organization that supports children facing medical challenges along with their families. The goal is and has always been the same- helping people find their best selves and allowing space and time for healing. I have worked with children of all ages, teenagers, adults, couples, and families. I value the relationships we create together!

I believe that the relationship developed between the counselor and client sets the foundation to reach a place of growth and healing. By providing clients with a safe, caring, and accepting environment I'm able to encourage clients to share their experiences through different techniques and approaches. I believe in working together with my clients to overcome difficulties and instill hope for the future. Counseling is a journey, and what I love most about being a counselor is being able to meet you where you are on this journey as you tap into your strengths and believe in who you are meant to be. As a professional counselor my goal is to show you that I am here to empathize with you, encourage you, and help you get "unstuck" in the midst of what you're experiencing. I am excited to connect with you and serve you as we dive into your beliefs and potential!
