About me

The mind naturally wants to go towards wellness, sometimes we just need a little help in the right direction. Let me help you on your journey towards healing, growth and wellness. Therapy is your unique journey towards wellness. Think of me as a partner that is on your journey with you as you work your way towards wellness.

Together we will work through the journey of healing. “People start to heal the moment they feel heard” -Cheryl Richardson. Healing is a journey full of growth and change. Sometimes the hardest part of therapy is showing up; while at the same time the bravest thing is showing up as well. If you are struggling to find wellness and healing it may be the right time for therapy.

I strongly believe the backbone of successful therapy is the therapeutic relationship and positive therapeutic rapport. This is built in several different ways. Giving my full undivided attention and listening to my fullest ability start building process. Continued growth is met by you being able to see, notice, and feel my genuineness; knowing that your therapist is real, empathic and caring helps you feel at ease and welcomed in session. Working at a partnership helps you know that you are in charge of your life, your healing and your growth. Knowing you can depend on yourself with some guidance helps you blossom into the person you were meant to be. Throughout our time together you will be supported and validated, but also challenged and helped to see different views and ideas on ideas and situations in order to help you make the best decisions for you.

I specialize in helping those struggling with infertility, child loss, life adjustments to and with childless and/or childfree changes, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma and life transitions. Working with teens, and women is a passion of mine, providing a safe space to work through the struggles and challenges of those special years and supporting through these difficult life circumstances is a source of connection for me to which many struggle to find a counselor to connect with on these areas and traumas in life.

I am a licensed mental health counselor with an emphasis on a holistic, client centered, and trauma-informed approach. Accepting clients from teen through adult.
