I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maryland with over 18 years of experience in individual and family counseling. I've helped individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, and difficult life transitions, and I specialize in issues related to chronic illness, grief and loss. I use modalities based in cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness and frequently incorporate reading, journaling and homework assignments into my work with clients.
My goal as a therapist is to help my clients develop the self-awareness and personal insight needed to improve their physical, social, spiritual, and emotional well-being. As your therapist, I will encourage you to explore your thoughts and feelings, to set personal goals, and to engage in practices that promote self-care, self-love, self-acceptance and forgiveness. Therapy isn't a solution to life's problems, however it can be a means to improving one's life. It requires hard work, commitment and a willingness to be honest with yourself and open with your feelings.

I also have experience in LGBT, Relationship issues, Family conflicts, Trauma and abuse, Parenting issues, Anger management, Career difficulties
