Amy Drake, LCSW, LICSW
About me
As a licensed therapist serving clients across Texas, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating complex life transitions and emotional challenges. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique experience, with a strong focus on anxiety, trauma recovery, relationship dynamics, and emotional regulation.
I have particular expertise in working with neurodivergent individuals, including ADHD and autism, as well as supporting clients experiencing panic, hypervigilance, burnout, and difficulty with focus or motivation. I also work extensively with clients navigating trauma—both acute and complex—including experiences related to systemic harm, workplace stress, and personal relationships.
My work often centers around relationship patterns, communication challenges, and attachment dynamics, including couples work and individuals processing betrayal, disconnection, or recurring relational conflict. I support clients in understanding patterns such as codependency, emotional reactivity, and difficulty with boundaries, helping them build healthier, more secure connections.
I am especially passionate about supporting women’s issues, young adult transitions, caregiver stress, and identity development. Many of my clients are in seasons of questioning—career direction, relationships, self-worth, or life purpose—and are looking for clarity, stability, and a stronger sense of self.
I believe therapy should meet you exactly where you are. My goal is to provide a grounded, nonjudgmental space where you feel understood and supported while also being gently challenged to grow. Together, we focus on building insight, resilience, and practical tools that create meaningful, lasting change in your life.
