About me

I am a Licensed Psychologist in New York with over 5 years of experience working as a psychotherapist and career/life coach. I also have a range of valuable experiences to draw from 10 years of other professional work in nonprofits and other settings.

As a therapist, I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, coping with grief and loss, motivation and confidence, compassion fatigue and burnout, parenting and other family issues, and career/job issues. I have worked in outpatient clinics, inpatient settings, and remotely. I have worked with children and teens in the past and currently, work only with adults.

My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, and psychodynamic approaches to therapy. I also work, if you are looking for, from the perspective of a career counselor/coach.

I specialize in helping people going through big life changes in life, making important decisions, and navigating complicated relationship issues at work and home.

I will treat you with respect, acceptance, and empathy. I will also encourage you to treat yourself well and to advocate for yourself. I see my clients as experts on your own experience and process for healing and growth. I want you to feel comfortable telling me what you need from therapy and how I as your therapist can help you. It is also ok not to know or to change course as we go.

I look forward to connecting with you and learning more about what you are going through and what you are working toward.
