About me
Greetings and welcome! I applaud you for having the courage to take the first step in your journey to healing and a more fulfilling life!
My name is Amy Jackson, and I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker. I have 14 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping children and adults with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, trauma and abuse, & coping with grief and loss. Most of my work has been in the medical setting, but I also have experience working in educational and community mental health settings. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. My therapy style is open and flexible. I believe in treating each individual with dignity and respect & meeting each individual where they are currently in the therapeutic journey. My approach is a combination of cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, solution-focused, and psychodynamic therapy. My approach will be tailored to best fit your individual needs.
I look forward to providing support and assisting you on your journey!
