Amy Kilgore, LPCC
About me
Hi-- my name is Amy Kilgore and I am a licensed professional clinical counselor. I have 13 years of professional work experience and a lifetime of personal experience. I have received much healing grace in my life and am passionate about serving others on their journey. At the foundation of my work is my belief in the gospel of Jesus Christ which informs my worldview and sense of peace, hope, love and security. I have a broad range of experience treating various mental health disorders in all age ranges. I am currently trained/certified in two forms of trauma treatment (EMDR, TF-CBT) as I believe most clinical disorders are manifestations of unresolved grief and fear issues. I have the most experience in helping clients with trauma and abuse, stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, relational issues, eating disorders, personality disorders & coping with grief and loss. I believe that you are the expert of your story and acknowledge that reaching out for help is most difficult and courageous. I'm here to support you in your process -- please let me know If you think we're a good match! :)

She listens and understands my feelings concerns and gives good input and insight to help me become a better person for my daughter family and friends. Super easy to talk too about difficult situations. Would highly recommend Amy.

So far this has been a great experience for me. Amy is awesome and she actually listens and understands me. She pays attention to what I am saying and doesn’t seem distracted like the last therapist I had at another company. Amy doesn’t just tell me what she thinks I want to hear. Amy truly cares about my situation and actually reaches out to me between appointments to check on how I am doing. I would absolutely recommend Amy and BetterHelp!
