About me

A.M Counselling provides a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for individuals seeking support with their mental health and emotional wellbeing. With over 12 years of experience, a compassionate and client-centred approach is used to help clients explore their thoughts and feelings and work towards positive change.

Support is offered for a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, psychosis, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, and life transitions. Each session is tailored to the individual, recognising that every person’s experience is unique.

My training is based on an integrative approach, allowing me to draw from a range of therapeutic models to best support you. I have also developed a strong interest in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), focusing on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behavioural patterns. I believe this combination enables a flexible and personalised approach for each client.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work in accordance with their ethical framework, ensuring safe and professional practice.

I am dedicated to helping you gain clarity, build resilience, and move forward with confidence, and I am committed to supporting you in finding a positive way forward.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Amy Marshall. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Amy’s been amazing so far! I do feel Amy really understands me, which has lacked with other therapists previously. She’s well educated in trauma, grief and loss, and overall building good relationships with her clients by adding humour where appropriate and being genuine. I’d recommend Amy to anyone.
