About me

Thank you for considering working with me on your therapeutic journey. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based out of the Greater New York City area. I have been working with clients since 2009.

Life comes with unforeseen challenges and how we work through those circumstances can demonstrate who we are. Seeking help from licensed professionals during these difficult moments can help you learn new ways to grow and more fully enjoy life. My goal for our sessions is to focus completely on your needs by cultivating a warm and inviting atmosphere in order to nurture the strengths that you already possess. I use an integrative therapeutic approach based on building self-esteem and courage to help clients gain insight into negative thoughts and challenging emotional/behavioral patterns that often get us sidetracked. I provide trauma-informed care that addresses issues surrounding anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationships, career changes, life transitions, domestic abuse, and healthy coping skills. I aim to guide my clients to empower themselves to reach their full potential in their own lives.

A caring therapeutic relationship can help maximize your potential, enhance your communication skills, and work through areas of personal pain. Taking the time to read this and find a therapist that suits your needs is a great first step in this journey.

I look forward to hearing from you and helping you to create a happy, healthy life for yourself.

Amy is beyond kind, and understanding. She has diverse methods and listens to my thoughts and really tries to make me feel heard and understood while helping me improve myself. I’ve done counseling often from many different specialists and I can say with confidence that she’s one of the best. Anyone would be lucky to have her services as they try to improve themselves.
