About Me

I am a licensed therapist with over ten years of experience working with individuals and families, from those going through significant life changes to those healing from past traumatic experiences.

I believe it’s important to understand what’s happening before setting any intentions for action, so the first few times we talk, I really just want to listen, and let you speak freely about what’s going on. For all of us, it can be difficult to know where we’re going if we don’t quite understand yet where we’re at.

Changes can bring about a lot of confusion, so part of my job is to help you organize your thoughts around these changes and help you figure out what you really want. Then, we will work together to figure out how you can get to where you’d like to be.

If this sounds like what you are looking for, I’d be to happy to answer any other questions you might have about my approach, or the counseling process in general.

I look forward to working with you!

Amy is one of the kindest people I have talked to on this app. When I first joined I wasn’t sure if I would be able to find anyone who understood what I was going through. However, Amy did. She listens, talks, and helps me understand all parts of my problems.

She’s a gray therapist and asks the perfect questions, she just isn’t as available as I would like.

I think Amy has been really great. She’s the first therapist I’ve had that I’ve been able to completely unload all my thoughts on. I’d highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone to really vent to.
