Amy Svoboda, LPC
About me
My name is Amy Svoboda, LPC, CCTP, ASDCS and I am a licensed professional counselor, born and raised in North Texas, along with two amazing sons. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. As a therapist and director, I have worked with many patients and/or clients from different backgrounds. I have worked with many people including individuals, couples, and families in a number of settings. Patients with significant mental health histories, or individuals, couples, and families needing shorter term therapy. I have studied and taught many psychology courses and am passionate about combining knowledge and research to support and enhance the clients’ experience of therapy. I work with such issues as depression, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, bipolar, grief, trauma, chronic pain/illness, and many more areas of concern or change. I have seen and experienced many aspects of mental health which influence the work I do. I am blessed to see clients that can learn and grow and become self-aware, moving towards more fulfilling lives. Described as kind, supportive, and knowledgeable, my clients and I work on finding and creating healthier ways to overcome past, present, and/or future issues. I use an integrated approach which pulls from several ways to best fit client needs, avoiding "one size fits all". If my style, experience, and method seem to meet your needs, I would be honored to work with you.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Amy Svoboda. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I had tried a few different therapists in different apps but never did more than one session. I felt like I connected with Amy right away and look forward to our talks every week. I feel not only is she helping me through my issues on our weekly calls but she has been there for me in urgent situations and I feel like I can depend on her to be there for me if I’m struggling mentally which is not something I even expected but is a really amazing feeling.

Amy presents a non stressful environment and makes it easy to communicate. She's very easy going. She seems to be on point with her observations and suggestions. She offers a relaxed atmosphere even though it is video.. but it still feels quite comfortable. Also, I feel no judgment from her this far, which is very important to me. I enjoy her calm personality. She's very polite, professional and sweet.
