About me
Are you carrying unresolved trauma that still shows up in your daily life? Perhaps you’re struggling to cope with a painful family estrangement, feeling disconnected from your partner, or navigating disenfranchised grief, such as the loss of a pet? Do you find yourself masking just to get through the day? Numbing out, scrolling endlessly, gaming, shopping, turning to alcohol or substances for relief? It’s time to say goodbye to avoidance and behavioral patterns that no longer serve you and begin healing whilst creating a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. Imagine rewriting your story. This is where you can begin.
I specialize in working with mood disorders, substance misuse/dependence, adult children of emotionally immature parents (EIPs), boundary development, parenting and family dynamics. Pet loss and disenfranchised grief are also close to my heart.
Therapy should NOT be stressful. The last thing I want is for you to dread coming to your counseling appts! Will it be hard work? Yes. However, I make every effort to make sure the experience is as satisfying as possible and ensure that therapy will be something you can stick with through the tough sessions and growing pains of changing your life!
