About me
Andrew Donelan, LCSW-C
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) who uses a client-centered approach when providing counseling services to individuals, couples and families of all backgrounds. I also have experience working with clients with dual diagnosis treatment needs. In general, I use a strength-based approach in order to help my clients to better address their individual treatment needs while offering appropriate strategies and advice targeted towards improving these areas of concern. The objective is always to guide and support clients in implementing necessary changes with the underlying goal of improving peer and family relationships, emotional health and wellbeing, and overall quality of life at home, work, or at school.
The client is encouraged to work towards achieving their personal goals of healing, growth, and wellness. I incorporate mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral approaches to therapy as well. My areas of interest and expertise include stress management, anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, trauma/abuse, lifestyle changes, loss/separation/divorce, family relations, and addiction recovery support.
In concluding, I look forward to working with you to meet your goals for a more balanced and centered life and to develop better communication and coping skills. Lastly, I am happy to offer virtual visits at this time if requested.
