Andrew Harris
About me
I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor credentialed and registered in the United Kingdom.
When it comes to my practice I have a particular interest in bereavement, loss, anxiety, OCD, depression, low mood and adaptation to change - but will work with most presentations.
Counselling, like any talking therapy, is the meeting of two individuals (in this case a Counsellor and Client) with the sole aim of exploring thoughts, feelings and behaviours. This can be related to any ongoing difficulty or struggle and it can be at any point or given moment in someone’s life. I passionately believe that Counselling has the ability to change lives. In my experience, those being referred, or who self-refer to Counselling, do so through feeling or experiencing a sense of hopelessness, loss, anxiety, difficulty or as a means of finding support.
The key to any therapeutic work lies within the therapeutic relationship between therapist and client; to that end, I offer a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental space for my clients. Anyone is welcome in my Counselling practice from both majority or minority backgrounds. My aim as a therapeutic professional is to work collaboratively with my clients.

Andrew is the best therapist I could have ever asked for. He has helped me make so much progress and has supported me every step of the way. Andrew has helped me feel more confident, empowered and happy. He gave me strategies and helped me design a toolkit that has been invaluable to my progress. He is reflective, kind, empathetic and so very knowledgeable. It was easy to develop rapport with Andrew, because of his kind, humble and caring nature. Our therapy sessions are the highlight of my week, where I feel safe to express myself and always feel valued and accepted.
Thank you Andrew for being an awesome therapist and for helping me to smile more brightly. You really are the best therapist ever! I highly recommend Andrew, as a wonderful therapist.
