About me

Hello! If you are exploring Better Help, then it is likely that you are struggling with something significant in your life. Finding the right person to help you navigate these challenges is essential. The relationship that you have with your therapist is perhaps the most important factor for positive outcomes in counseling. I want to make sure that you feel like we are a good fit, so I am happy to provide some information about myself, my professional experience and therapeutic approach.

I have worked in the field of mental health and social work for the past 8 years working with individuals from different backgrounds struggling with a wide variety of challenges. I have extensive experience working with those struggling with mood disorders (depression, anxiety, bipolar), grief & life transitions as well as executive dysfunction. I have been told by many of my clients that I am caring, warm and able to provide them with a level of support that they had not gotten in the past from services. I am here to be your ally as well as listen with compassion first and foremost. We will then work together using evidence based approaches (CBT, DBT, Solution Focused, etc.) and you can expect to come out of our sessions feeling empowered with new tools to take on the challenges you face.

I can interact with you in whatever manner you are most comfortable. I find it helpful to participate in video sessions so that we can get to know each other better. But I am also available to you via phone and text if that is more comfortable for you. A majority of my availability is in the evenings and on the weekends but I check messages at least once during each weekday and during active hours on the weekend.

I know how hard it can be to find a counselor who you feel a connection with and I would be honored to work with you through this stage of your life.
