About me
Hi and Welcome...
I am a clinical therapist with a B.A. in Psychology from Indiana University and an MSW from Indiana University. I am currently seeking a Post Graduate Certificate in trauma and disaster relief from NorthCentral University and serve as a volunteer for the American Red Cross in the area of Disaster Mental Health.
My experiences have been in several different areas. As a hospice social worker, I provided counseling for patients and families preparing for and coping with grief and loss. I have also worked in the community and private sectors of mental health providing therapy for adults, teens, adolescents, and children dealing with depression, anxiety, autism spectrum, marriage and family, parenting, and trauma/abuse issues.
My approach to therapy is to provide a safe, caring, empowering, and non-judgemental attitude towards
my clients. I will use therapies from several different approaches incuding, but not limited to, cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, trauma focused-cognitive behavioral, and humanistic approaches but will tailor the therapy and treatment plan according to your individual needs.
Asking for help is difficult...thank you for taking the first step to becoming an emotionally healthier you. If you are ready to begin, I am ready to empower you and support you through this process.
I look forward to working with you!
