About me

I am credentialed in the UK with 11 years of professional work in therapy. I have a broad experience helping clients with stress, depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, cancer and abuse.

I recognize the courage it takes to seek help and the vulnerability involved in sharing one's innermost thoughts. I offer a safe environment where my clients can explore and express the challenges they face and help untangle any pent up emotions that stop them from moving forward in life.

Counselling is a collaborative therapeutic relationship where my clients will not be judged for their thoughts, feelings, beliefs or values but instead, I offer support, warmth, empathy and compassion and be their unbiased companion throughout their life-changing journey. It's important to me that my clients feel heard and validated.

As an empathetic counselor I strive to help overcome obstacles, develop resilience, and achieve personal growth. My goal is to help build coping strategies that extends beyond our sessions.

I appreciate how Ms. Angeline can relate to and comprehend my circumstances; she is very personable, accommodating, and understanding. When I tell her my stories, my prior traumas, etc., she is incredibly patient with me. She is a Filipina, and I am so appreciative and delighted to have met her.

I was not sure what to expect when i signed up with Better Help but I was very desperate at the time and I just needed some help, or talked to someone who listens and understands what I was going through. The moment I saw Angeline messaged me and said that she would like to work with me, I felt like half of my chest was lifted. I felt like someone has answered my call. She has been extremely helpful, always answering all my questions with no judgement. She encouraged me to practice mindfulness and focusing exercises, which I found very useful. I know that I may still have a long way to go but I am glad and thankful to have her next to me. Thank you Angeline for all your help and I would recommend her to anyone who is going through tough times like me.

Angeline is a compassionate, understanding professional who can tailor her approach to your individual needs. By getting to the root cause of your issues and assigning homework tasks accordingly, she emphasises the need for small steps in the process of self-care and realisation. I would highly recommend her for anyone struggling with depression, anxiety and low self-esteem.
