About Me

Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counseling (LPC) and Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCDC) in the state of Texas with almost 10 years of experience specifically in the domain of trauma, addiction, and other mental health disorders such as anxiety. or nerves, depression, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, and dysfunctional family problems. I also work with people with mild autism and with people with a history of attention deficit and impulsivity. My professional interests include helping people with traumatic experiences or who may have trouble adjusting to significant changes in their lives.

My style of counseling focuses on the strengths of my clients and with a focus on the problems that my clients want to change. The treatment I offer is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy. I have experience with people of all ages and what my clients enjoy the most is that I treat them with patience, compassion, and respect.

Although seeking a counselor can be scary, unpredictable, or may bring insecurity, one of the rewards of receiving therapy is starting down the path of healing from our worries. I invite you to consider the benefit of starting therapy with me to improve your life in the ways that mean the most to you. When creating a treatment plan with you, your personal goals and needs for therapy will be considered in order to fulfill your wishes to live a fuller and happier life.

Angie has been patient with me and she’s showed me hidden things about myself that I wasn’t aware of. Counseling is a slow and subtle process but it’s giving me an outlet to help reset myself in order to get better

Angie is kind, attentive and has provided me with helpful information and practices to try in all of our sessions. Anytime we’ve experienced difficulties connecting for a session she has always found a way to reach out and accommodate me.
