About me

Humans are complex beings and today's pace of life can often leave us feeling disillusioned or boxed in. When life's high speed or circumstance sucks us up into a situation or way of being that we no longer recognise we can become anxious, depressed or lose purpose and our well-being begins to suffer.

Throughout my life I have always had an interest in psychology and after recovering from my own struggles with mental health as a young adult, I decided to combine my passion and personal experience to train as a counsellor and provide therapy in a more relaxed and approachable style. Whilst training I began my work within an agency dedicated to social change and after qualifying went on to develop my own practice offering counselling. I later additionally qualified as a Psychotherapist, providing longer term therapy for more complex concerns.

I work to increase awareness to all aspects of self, including mind, body, emotions and soul, in context to the environment in which you exist, gaining a more holistic approach to life that enables you to identify what you would like to change. As you re-establish lost connections within you, you start to remember who you truly are, what you stand for and allow yourself to live more in line with that true self. By being curious about your struggles, looking at what lies beyond the physical and nurturing your whole being we can begin to make life what you truly wish it could be.

Being a Therapeutic Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist I work with a broad range of concerns and am trained in several modalities and techniques that allow me to tailor sessions to suit you. The theories I integrate are Person-Centred, CBT, Gestalt and Transpersonal.
