About Me

Hello, I am a licensed clinical social worker and a doctorate level student of psychology. I have worked as a professional counselor since 2014 and have worked primarily with helping individuals to cope with anxiety, depression, anger management, relationship problems, previous traumas, and various adjustment difficulties. I enjoy working with my clients to change the way they respond to life's stresses and believe that adjusting one's perspective can increase happiness, success, and relationship satisfaction. I encourage acceptance of personal responsibility, redirecting of attention to the present moment, and practicing gratuity.

I believe therapy is an amazing investment into one's health and happiness, and consider it a shared journey with the focus being on the client. I strive to provide a safe and non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and past/present experiences. I aim to provide reflective and timely responses to information you might share through text and encourage regular follow up through text or live sessions. I utilize homework assignments and support you in the completion real life exercises to help you change the way you think and behave. I am available to provide flexible scheduling for video sessions and am happy to communicate through talk and/or text, whichever is most convenient for you.

I believe it is my job as a therapist to help my clients become self sufficient. I typically utilize brief therapeutic treatment processes, tailored to fit each person's personality and needs. My style is professional and firm while being consistent and kind. I focus on strategies to help you improve your insight and gain self knowledge while empowering you to make positive changes in your life. I am honored and excited to share in your journey am ready to teach you the skills for you to function better on your own.
