Anthony Russo, LPC
About me
My name is Anthony Russo. I am a licensed professional counselor and a board certified addiction specialist. My specialities are working with individuals who suffer from depression, anxiety and addictions. My theoretical orientation is a solution focused based premise; that is, everyone has been successful at some point in their lives, whereby addiction, depression and/or anxiety was not a condition in their lives. I am interested in locating exceptions in one's life, to which one can point to as having some sense of self-efficacy. I believe that we often under-estimate our own abilities and strengths; therefore , we never realize our full potential. Let me help you to be the best you can be and reach your full potential!
Therapy takes time, effort and a refocus of our energies to more productive goals. One or two sessions will yield minimal, if any, results. Consistency, like in anything else, will yield optimal results. Have you ever focused on aspects of your life that never materialized any return or benefit? I want to help you refocus your energy to what will yield the maximum result for you. That is, less wasted energy and more goal-directed focus. Bring an open mind and willingness to embark on a new journey with me!

Anthony is incredible. He always comes into our sessions with a great attitude, ready to listen to my concerns and thoughts. He offers up wise advice when needed, he listens well, and most importantly, he is truly passionate about improving people’s lives. He always keeps it professional, but has a way of making me feel like I’m talking to an old friend. Would recommend to anyone.

I worked with Anthony for about a month primarily on growing my relationship with my wife in the midst of raising our babies. He helped me put together some pieces of the puzzle of myself. He prompted me both to create space, small as it may be, for relationship to grow and to work on putting myself more fully in other people's shoes. My time with Anthony was well spent and I grew as a person through our discussions.

I was a little nervous whether I was going to enjoy working with my first therapist or if I would have to go through two or three before I found the right person. Anthony was a pleasure to work with from the start. He gave me great advice over the 6 months we worked together. He challenged me when need be, made me question my beliefs, and coached me through a pretty difficult time.

This guy is a FANTASTIC therapist. He functions in my life like a life coach and helps me (as a neurodivergent person) talk through my stuff. He also calls me out when I'm sidestepping. Really good experience.
