Aqueelah Wheatley, LIMFT
About me
I’m a doctoral level licensed therapist who helps adults navigate anxiety, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions with clarity and compassion. Many of the people I work with feel stuck—overthinking, carrying emotional weight, or struggling to feel understood in their relationships or within themselves.
My approach is supportive, collaborative, and practical. I help clients identify patterns rooted in attachment, past experiences, and stress, while building tools for emotional regulation, boundaries, self-esteem, and healthier communication. Therapy with me isn’t about judgment or quick fixes—it’s about understanding why you feel the way you do and learning how to respond to life differently.
Clients often describe our work together as grounding, insightful, and empowering. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, ADHD-related challenges, relationship stress, or trying to reconnect with your sense of self, I aim to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and capable of meaningful change.
