Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Ashlea Staunch-Humphries. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Ashlea is kind, empathetic, insightful, and has a wonderful flexibility to her approach. She’s been a godsend to me, and really helped me focus on the things I can control and identify the things I can work on. She’s dynamic in her approach when there’s an opportunity to process unresolved issues we identify in our sessions. She’s pragmatic and offers support in brainstorming and identifying resources for lots of problems.

Ashlea is wonderful. I've just started with her and she makes me feel at ease and asks the difficult questions.

Ashlea has been very helpful and professional. She is prompt and has sent me work sheets and questionnaires for me to explore between sessions. The sessions are productive and helpful in expanding my understanding. I feel more at ease. I highly recommend her as a therapist and I plan to continue seeing her.

I had sessions with Ashlea for just over a year, and it was without a doubt one of the best things I have done for myself. Seeing her weekly became an incredibly safe space for me, and her ability to know exactly what I was going through and make me understand the causes and consequences of how I felt improved my mental health significantly. Coming from a past of a lot of therapy, which I never found useful, I was very hesitant to start seeing Ashlea, but the tools I picked up have quite frankly changed my life.

She is everything I wanted in a therapist and more. She is understanding of what I'm comfortable discussing and never makes me feel rushed to talk, and she was able to provide a different type of therapy (EDMR) that I had not heard of but helped more than I could have guessed.

Ashlea really listens in a respectful way and offers great insight. She makes me think about things in a different light when another perspective can be helpful, and I've found this to be really refreshing. She also remembers a lot of detail about things we've spoken about in the past and this really helps foster the trust.
