I understand that sharing your thoughts, feelings, and vulnerabilities can be difficult, but I am here to provide professional help in a safe and nonjudgmental fashion.
I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor. I have over a decade of experience working with many different client populations to include individuals struggling with severe mental illness such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, to helping those with mild or moderate symptoms of anxiety or depression.
My approach is person centered as I help the client to identify their personal strengths. I work a lot with CBT techniques which help clients to reframe negative thought processes and have a more positive perspective on life's challenges. Empowering clients to live in their full state of wellness--mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional health--is always my goal. The client will define their wellness goals and work towards those goals at a pace comfortable for their lifestyle.
I find value in listening intently to my clients as I believe they already have the answers needed inside of them; I am simply here to facilitate the healing process. I look forward to providing the counsel, support and encouragement to see you through to fulfilling your wellness goals.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Ashley Cross. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I guess shes changing platforms but she missed my one appointment i made with her and does not check better help very much it seems.
Ashley is so kind and caring. She puts my needs first and asks very engaging questions. Have been very happy with her!
Ashley has been amazing. I had heard it can be difficult at first meeting a therapist for the 1st time but I have been very lucky and grateful for Ashley's expertise and insight. She listens and provides appropriate feedback. I don't feel judged and always feel better after speaking with her. I am glad to be a client of hers.
My session with Ashley today was great; she's very personable and understanding. She offered me many techniques, skills, and resources that I feel will help me with my anxiety and current challenges that I'm facing.
Ashley asked guiding questions to understand my situation and has supported me in my specific goals each session. She is a great listener and the “homework” she has given me (upon my request!) has been a reslly great supplement during the week.
