Ashley Freeman
About me
Hello! I am Ashley and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is currently licensed in Idaho. I am looking forward to meeting with you and happy that you are curious about me and my therapeutic style. In my experience I always first like to remind the people I work with that finding the right therapist is the most important step in starting your journey to learning about yourself and ways you can have a more fulfilled experience, the therapeutic relationship is where the journey begins!
I have worked in a few different arenas in social work including long term therapy, brief intervention as well as medical social work, including assisting families and individuals seek the resources available to them. I am a Certified Daring Way Facilitator in which I am trained in Brene Brown Shame and Vulnerability work, if you are not familiar I will provide a link for her TED Talk to learn more. I feel that this approach is the most humanistic in understanding ourselves better with out attaching diagnosis that don't often really tell our story. I am passionate about working with individuals in discovering their story and writing/living the endings they always imagined.
