About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Michigan. I graduated from Michigan State University in 2011. While I hold my license in Michigan, I am a military spouse and currently reside in Arizona. I have spent most of my career providing intensive in-home counseling services to individuals and families. I have experience working with people struggling with many different concerns such as mood disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, PTSD, parenting concerns, anxiety, depression, and addiction.

My therapy style is warm and interactive and I believe one of the most important components to having a successful outcome in therapy is first developing a strong rapport. I take a strength-based and person-centered approach when working with clients. I utilize a variety of different modalities depending on the needs and desires of the individual person such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), solution-focused, and trauma-informed techniques among others.

It is my passion to be able to come alongside people and empower and support them in reaching their goals and full potential. I look forward to working with you!

Very understanding and down to earth. Good sense of humour. Very easy to click with. Wouldn’t want any other therapist.

I have been working with Ashley Reeves for about 2 months now, and I feel tremendously grateful for her. After each session, I always think: wow, I wish I would have started this journey sooner. But I'm also glad I chose to do so now because I have a great therapist who I really believe cares about me, and listens so well. I'm always amazed at what she is able to remember, and how she builds on my experiences to create a treatment plan for me that helps me work through my trauma, manage my anxiety, and stay optimistic about the future.

Utilizing Better Help’s journaling feature and online zoom sessions has allowed Ashley and I to dive in quickly to help me with my personal growth. Having been to another in person counselor I was hesitant to start all over again. The format of this resource allowed me to share a lot of my past so I could quickly move on to my future.
