About me

Greetings! My name is Ashley Young. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 5 years of experience working as a Mental Health Therapist. I have a Masters of Science degree in Counseling and have enjoyed working with individuals from all walks of life. I have worked with individuals with ADHD, depression, anger challenges, anxiety, and parenting problems. I have also helped many individuals who have experienced emotional and physical trauma by utilizing trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TFCBT).

My purpose is to help individuals learn to balance life's challenges. My approach is a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person Centered Therapy. Individuals and families are constantly adapting or responding to daily struggles. Exploring your thoughts and feelings in a supportive environment is the first important step of your journey. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you.

Ashley is a reliable source for skills to handle every day life and to work through past experiences that are difficult to acknowledge alone.

Ashley has been so helpful as a therapist. She is a close listener and always follows up with concrete things that I can do in practice to help with what Iā€™m dealing with. She is great at checking in and meeting people where they are to help them.
