Hello and welcome! My name is Asia, and I help adults who are struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns improve their quality of life and create deeper fulfillment beyond substances. My approach is individualized, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. There is no one-size-fits-all path to change, which is why I take the time to understand each person’s unique life experiences, stressors, values, relationships, goals, and motivations. I work with people pursuing moderation goals as well as those seeking abstinence, depending on their individual needs and circumstances.
In addition to my professional background, I understand firsthand that change is deeply personal and rarely follows a linear path. In our first session, you can expect a supportive conversation focused on understanding the bigger picture — not just the substance use itself — and beginning to build a plan for meaningful, sustainable change.
As Carl Jung once said, "The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are." I see counseling as an invitation to re-consider your life's journey, to know yourself on a deeper level, and to align with "who you truly are." You are the healer. I simply offer another set of eyes and ears to help you find and follow your inner compass.
