About me
I am Licensed Clinician in Virginia with over 21 years of professional work experience, primary through a regional Behavioral Health program providing therapy to youth, adolescent and adults with a wide range of mental health needs and symptoms. I incorporate a variety of creative approaches and interventions including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. I have experience helping clients reduce family conflicts, address trauma and abuse experiences, promote healthy coping associated with grief, loss and other unwanted experiences, and improve emotional regulation. If desired, I also have interest and experience in providing faith-based interventions to promote enrichment in each aspect of life. In adhering to Client- Centered Strengths Perspective, I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialogue and co-create a treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
