About me

I believe the therapy relationship is sacred because it is a space to discuss anything- free of judgement. Therapy is a space to learn coping skills, process choices/events, clarify goals and the pathway to achieve them, manage life changes, move past trauma, or regain your voice. I am passionate about empowering individuals with the skills they need to minimize stress and maximize peace, joy, and identifying the pathway to health- honoring the best version of you. I have experience working with clients managing anxiety, depression, wellness/ self-care challenges, PTSD/ trauma, codependence, health/ pain issues, and hoarding.
Modalities I often use include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), assertive communication skills, learning emotional language, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), stress reduction skills such as mindfulness, visualization, and meditation, motivational interviewing (MI), and health and wellness psychoeducation.
Feel free to reach out with any questions. I truly look forward to working with you!

Ayla is awesome. I just started therapy with her a few sessions and I already feel like I want to continue with her as my long term therapist. She is very understanding and connects very well. She makes sure I am extremely comfortable with her.
