About me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. I have over 20 years’ experience in the substance abuse/mental health community, working with a variety of cultures and age groups that include individuals, families and couples from all walks of life. My experience also includes working with individuals ranging from those with domestic violence issues and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) to school, career and family issues. My goals include creating an open and safe environment where issues, thoughts, and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I support the belief that this is a collaboration with my clients and a cohesive and growth oriented therapeutic relationship is key to a successful and beneficial therapeutic experience. I also believe that it is important to build upon what is working in the client's life and start the counseling process from there and to address the needs that they feel should be addressed.
