Hello! I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with over 30 years of experience working with individuals and families. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns from child abuse and trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, and histories of trauma related to domestic violence and sexual assault.
My counseling style is warm, engaging and interactive, and I believe that the counselor/client relationship is absolutely the most important thing in counseling. I believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect , sensitivity, and compassion, and I do not believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines trauma-focused, cognitive behavioral, solution-focused and motivational interviewing counseling styles. I will likely use a combination of styles to best meet your unique and specific clinical needs.
