About me
"Let's work together to turn problems into challenges." My name is Betty Hull-Williams. I enjoy working with a variety of people from different races, nationalities, cultures, and religion. My experience is unlimited. I am a graduate from Oklahoma State University. I graduated in 2008, with a Master's of Science in Community Counseling. Also I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Langston University in Oklahoma and a second Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Kennesaw State University in Georgia. I have been working in the counseling field since the year 2000. In my therapy session I use a variety of treatment modalities such as: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Approach, Cognitive Behavior Therapy-Trauma focused, EMDR, TA, Motivational Interviewing, Existential Approach, Adlerian, and Mindfulness. I believe working with the community requires understanding, non-judgement approach, active listening, praise, encouragement, and support, which I can offer. I enjoy learning from my clients as well as working with client to be GREAT, to create a life worth living. I have worked in many setting working with adolescents and adults. I have worked with adults in the correctional facilities, Drug Court program, homeless population, two Methadone Clinics as a Clinical Supervisor and as a Program Director/Therapist. Currently I am in private practice and enjoy working with client's who have or currently experiencing depression, anxiety, past or current trauma, mood instability, substance abuse/dependency, identity issues, relationship/martial problems, anger issues, crisis intervention, and couples counseling.
