I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes therapy should be a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. My approach is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and LGBTQ+ affirming. I welcome clients of all identities, backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, and difficulties with self-esteem or emotional regulation. I tailor therapy to each client rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, and EMDR-informed techniques.
Growing up in a conservative community in South America gave me a deep appreciation for the ways culture, family, identity, expectations, and life experiences can influence our mental health. I understand how difficult it can be to feel misunderstood, judged, or pressured to fit into expectations that do not reflect who you truly are.
My goal is to create an inclusive and affirming space where you feel heard, respected, and accepted. Together, we can explore patterns that may be holding you back, strengthen your coping skills, deepen your understanding of yourself, and work toward meaningful changes that align with the life you want to live.
