I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's in Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama. My experience spans over 16 years working with children, adolescents, adults, and families of every race and ethnicity. My goal in counseling is to create a non-judgmental, compassionate, and motivating environment. I use clinically tested and evidence-based interventions and often use humor to help individuals find the positives amid life's challenges. I believe what makes me unique is my background as the daughter of a military father and my career as a flight attendant. I flew internationally for TWA and domestically for Continental Airlines. As such, I was able to both live in and visit many foreign and domestic locations that provided me the chance to learn about and interact with people from many different cultures.
