About me

Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from the University of South Florida, and my Master's Degree in Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University and have been working in the field since 2001. I have worked inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, non-profit agencies, and in private practice.

My experience is extensive, having done much work with couples working to strengthen and preserve their relationship, supported clients who are healing from divorce or other traumatic life events, and worked with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety or chronic stress. I have worked with clients who have a significant mental health diagnosis, as well as individuals who are in crisis.

You will find me to be compassionate and thoughtful as we work together to sort through your issues and experiences in order to gain a healthy perspective and healing. Please message me if you're interested in talking before setting up a session.

Bonnie has helped me through many difficult seasons in my life, navigating my 40's and trying to find goals and better habits to help me succeed in life. I'm grateful for her godly values and morals that are similar to mine.

I have had 2 sessions so far and her knowledge and advice is spot on. She listens, asks appropriate questions and truly wants to help, even if you don’t know what help you need. She goes out of her way to send you material to help educate and support yourself and she explains things in a different perspective. I highly recommend Bonnie!

Bonnie Define is kind, personable, and very professional! She has been excellent at coaching me through some very challenging circumstances and past experiences. Her knowledge of how trauma can affect they way we interact with others has been instrumental in me better understanding how to have healthy boundaries for friends and family members, as well as how I can show up better for myself and others.

I’ve been in therapy throughout the years and Bonnie is the only one who seems to really “get me”. Not only that but she provides useful resources, is empathetic, and helps me find solutions to my situations.
