Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from the University of South Florida, and my Master's Degree in Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University and have been working in the field since 2001. I have worked inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, non-profit agencies, and in private practice.
My experience is extensive, having done much work with couples working to strengthen and preserve their relationship, supported clients who are healing from divorce or other traumatic life events, and worked with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety or chronic stress. Bonnie has been a great support. She is very knowledgeable on the topics of dealing with difficult people, personality disorders, trauma, boundaries and codependency. I was hesitant to do therapy. I tried counseling with someone else through my employer and hated it. It made no difference in my life, but I figured I’d give something new a try. Bonnie is amazing. After the first meeting with her I could feel the heavy weight in me start to lift. It has completely changed my view of therapy and I don’t see how I went all these years with just my medication for my mental health. Bonnie can relate to me and it helps me know she knows what she’s talking about. She also gives me things to think about and try when we aren’t meeting. And she is always able to respond to the message board, usually within just a few hours even. She’s wonderful and I am so thankful for her even though it’s only been a few weeks of meetings.

I’ve been working with Bonnie for 3 weeks and plan to continue working with her in the future. She is kind and compassionate. She listens and never makes me feel judged. She is very responsive to my messages and we have extremely productive phone calls. She sends resources to help me in between sessions. I am so grateful for Bonnie and her help!
