Bonnie starts each session with a mindfulness exercise that helps you slow down and focus on what’s in the moment. She provides you ways of approaching everyday crises and experiences in a way that brings your best self out and helps you get in touch with what you really value. Acceptance can be difficult but she’ll help you find it more often. A really nice contrast to cognitive behavioral therapy that I personally find more useful.
Bonnie has helped me learn ways to deal with my emotions. Bonnie is helping me learn to live with depression by supplying coping methods. I feel much better than when I first met Bonnie. She has helped me in many ways.

My experience with Bonnie has been extremely beneficial. She has helped me to work with my own awareness and allow myself the forgiveness I've always needed. She's very patient and quick to respond, but not so quick as to not have put thought into what she says. You can tell she cares and wants to help her clients achieve growth outside of the counseling. BetterHelp has given me a way to reach out at my low points when traditional counseling couldn't. I finally feel like I'm making progress.

I like the way Bonnie reviews what I am trying to say and then provides advice. Doing so, helps me be sure she is interpreting what I am saying the way I intended. However, I feel her advice can be to general. I would like more specific strategies that I could try.
