About me

Hello, and thank you for your interest of looking at my profile to see if we might be a good-fit for therapy. Great job, you are taking your first steps towards feeling better, thinking clearer, and overcoming the obstacle(s) of the dilemma or struggles you have been facing. So, let me tell you a little about myself. I provide two formats of counseling/therapy which are Christian counseling and Non-Christian/Secular counseling. The choice is yours. However, there are several positive strengths that can be beneficial to utilize during therapy such as prayer, scripture reading, and faith. The Christian counseling, I provide is based upon biblical wisdom and seeking God’s counsel. I also utilize tools I have learned through my years of experience as a therapist. With 20 years as a mental health therapist, and over 35 years of experience working in multiple areas of mental health, I offer exceptional counseling with most mental health issues, including mood disorders of Anxiety, Bi-Polar Disorder, and Depression, chronic mental health conditions such as Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective Disorder, Trauma and PTSD, ADHD, and Personality Disorders. Other modalities of therapy I provide, are grief counseling, end of life counseling, trauma therapy, stress reduction, and couples/marriage counseling. I have been employed at both Idaho State hospitals as inpatient therapy, worked outpatient mental health treatment for both private companies and the state of Idaho, and have worked as a private contractor for a private practice in Lewiston. Dually licensed in the states of Idaho and Washington state allows for individuals in both states to have their needs met. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

He listens and isnt afraid to challenge my views and make me think of different perspectives

I really appreciate working with Brandon. He is very approachable and is willing to take things at my pace. I definitely feel like it's a safe space to work things out, and do not get the sense that I'm being pushed by any particular agenda or philosophy. Even though things are not at a crisis point (trying to stave that off!), I don't feel like my concerns are trivialized. The sessions have a very supportive, coach-like dynamic, which is exactly what I am needing right now. So grateful!
