Bree Normandin, LCMHC
About me
Hi there, I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over three years of experience in mental health counseling. I like to focus on the client and their needs. I tend to want to get you up on your feet as quickly as possible while recognizing that each person will have their own pace and own preferences. We will do whatever you're comfortable with.
I won't tell you how to live your life, but I will help you find your own answers so that you'll be better versed and more empowered going forward. My therapeutic approach is to see the person, find out what they need, what they'd like help with, and address those issues using a myriad of techniques.
I employ a unique blend of relational techniques, and person-centered therapy characterizes my therapeutic approach. This eclectic approach allows me to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their feelings, thoughts, and experiences. By emphasizing the importance of the therapeutic relationship, I work collaboratively with clients to help them achieve their personal goals and navigate life's challenges.
In addition to my work with anxiety and depression, I have developed expertise in working with neurodivergent clients. Understanding the unique needs, strengths, and challenges of neurodivergent individuals is at the core of my practice. I am committed to providing a supportive and accommodating environment for clients across the neurodiversity spectrum.
My ultimate goal is to empower individuals to discover their inner strengths, regain control, and achieve emotional well-being. With a compassionate and holistic approach, I am dedicated to helping clients live more fulfilling and authentic lives.
