About Me

Hello ! I am glad you are reaching out for support. It is my belief that most people have the ability to grow and build on their own strengths; however, at times, need empowerment and encouragement. My goal is to help you work on and accomplish your goals, regardless of how big or how small they may be.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for the state of Texas and I received my Master's from Texas Woman’s University. My approach to working with individuals includes a collaborative approach where solutions, instead of problems, are the focus. I believe that one of the main goals is to give clients the tools and skills they need to make positive changes in their lives.

I would consider my counseling style as integrative, as I like to pull from a variety of therapeutic techniques such as C.B.T., solution-focused, mindfulness, importance of wellness (physical, emotional, social, intellectual, spiritual, environmental, occupational), etc.

Bren is patient and understanding. I always enjoy our sessions, because she always guides me in the right direction and reminds me that in the end I need to focus on my well being and gives me tips and ideas on how to do so.
