About me

My name is Brianne Hawkins, but I go by Bri. I have been in the "helping" field for over 15 years. I have worked with a wide range of clients, with a wide range of needs. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) with 5 year of experience. I have been professionally trained and continue to take trainings on the latest models and improvements to treatment. I work from a CBT model, CBT stands for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, this means that I focus on thoughts/thinking styles and how they impact behaviors/actions. I also work from a humanistic approach that focuses on self-efficacy, and self-actualization. I have experience with individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality disorders and various other issues in the past. I have provided individual, family, and group counseling services. I have a true passion for working with women, survivors of trauma, and those coping with anxious disorders ( Anxiety, Adjustment, Panic, and PTSD). I utilize tools like mindfulness, meditations, relaxation techniques, and cognitive restructuring to assist the people I work with.

My personal style to therapy utilizes humor, solution focused, attainable baby steps to bringing about change in your life. I am here to support you, until you have the skills to support yourself in your natural community. I am down to earth and truly believe that you are the expert on you, and I am the expert on methods and tools that can help you!

My typical availability is Monday -Thursday; 9am until 1pm, with some variations.

Bri has been great to get to know me and point out aspects of my life I am not aware of. She lets me talk and only interrupts me to point out things I need to be aware of. I like her sense of humor and how to rolls that into our therapy sessions. So far so good. Very happy.

Brianne is knowledgeable and compassionate but not afraid to gently hold me accountable. She is the best therapist I’ve ever had. I can really see that she cares about her patients well-being and wants you to succeed.

Bri is incredible. One of the kindest, most thoughtful and professional women I’ve ever had the pleasure of talking to. She makes me feel welcome and safe and meets me wherever I’m at that day. Highly recommend!
