About Me

Seeking help can feel overwhelming and vulnerable. I commend you on taking the next step to find support! YOU are worth it! I will be here to listen, validate, and encourage you in your journey toward healing and better health.

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in Indiana for over 5 years. I earned my master’s degree from the Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, IN in 2011. I enjoy working with adults of all ages, including young adults, middle age, and aging populations. I am trained in Imago Couples Therapy and love helping couples deepen their connection and satisfaction in their relationships. I have experience working with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, grief, mood disorders, adjustment and life transitions, parenting, relationships, stress, self-esteem, trauma, and struggles in motherhood. I have helped many clients grow through difficult times in their lives, as well as better manage long-term issues.

I bring a sense of compassion and empathy, as well as stability, to each client I meet. I work with my clients to process their emotions, validate their experiences, uncover their strengths, and create concrete goals to build increased contentment in their lives. My approach is integrative and tailored to each client based on their needs, strengths, and goals. I commonly draw from humanistic, strength-based, solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and psychodynamic therapies. I feel that our past can commonly affect (not define!) our present and that gaining insight can be invaluable to our growth. I also believe that sometimes we need a little help in uncovering our strengths and that true, empathetic support can make a major difference in our progress. I work collaboratively with my clients to work through presenting issues and live into their higher potential.

I look forward to working with you!

"There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you." --Maya Angelou
