About me

I believe in cultivating an honest and secure relationship between myself and each client. We will pay attention to relevant interpersonal dynamics that present themselves throughout our therapeutic work. Our prior experiences and significant events greatly impact the way that we relate to others and connect to the world. This can make it difficult to be transparent and vulnerable in therapy. We will first work collaboratively to establish trust and set expectations for our therapeutic work.
Throughout my time in practice I have worked with people who have experienced trauma, eating disorders, mood disorders and substance use disorders. In therapy we will look at the ways in which these things impact your life and internal world. We will explore areas that need softness in order to promote healing and internal growth.
It can be incredibly intimidating to start this process because so much of it is unknown. I am always grateful to have the opportunity to learn about you as an individual and be with you on your journey.

Bridget is very down to earth and provides excellent mental health services in a way that doesn’t feel so clinical. She makes me feel very comfortable sharing my struggles and with assisting me in finding constructive ways to cope with them.
