About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with over 5 years of experience working as a clinician/counselor in the mental health field. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including mood disorders, anxiety, situational and relationship issues, parenting and prenatal concerns, as well as, individuals diagnosed with personality and substance use disorders. I specialize in trauma and emotional abuse, and excel at working with anyone who is willing to take the step to learn and grow about themselves.

My counseling style is based around warm and natural communication. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a large indicator of the work that is done and it takes open discussion and back and forth communication to be most effective. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to take a look at the connection between our thoughts and behaviors, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to start to change our behaviors into one's that achieve a more positive outcome. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

Be proud of yourself for taking the first step towards a happier life and fulfilling your goals. If you are ready to take that step I am her to support you through your process!

I look forward to talking with you!

Bridget is a fantastic therapist who always asks the most striking and important questions. She challenges me while making me feel comfortable to share honestly. She remembers our previous sessions well so every session feels like I am making more and more progress.

I have been in therapy for many years, but I have never seen myself make progress as quickly as I have since I started working with Bridget. From day one she made me feel comfortable and understood. She is caring and supportive, but at the same time helps me to recognize opportunities to make different choices. She has given me simple yet invaluable strategies that have made my life much more peaceful.

A wonderful person!
Bridget has helped me realize many things about myself and how I want to treat myself going forward. Lessons have stuck with me throughout our time and I apply them to my situations when I am dealing with something on my own. I feel like I gained tools to help myself and sculpt a better me.
