About me

Hi! My name is Brittany Armstrong and I am happy you’re here! Taking the first step can be scary and my commitment to you is to make you feel safe and comfortable throughout your experience. I believe therapy has the best outcome when you find someone who you feel truly listens and understands. It’s not my job to be the expert of your life, but to help navigate through the challenges you’re facing and help find the right path for you. We are in this together!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of counseling experience. I received my Masters in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University where I specialized in Narrative Therapy. I love this approach because it emphasizes that we all have a story, and YOU are the expert of your life. Your challenges and mistakes do not define you as a person, and we will focus on your positive skills and sense of purpose to overcome whatever obstacles you are facing. My approach is completely tailored to your goals!

I have worked with children, teens, and adults with a primary focus on life transitions. You may feel stuck in your career, at home, or just have anxiety about “what’s next.” Maybe you’re unhappy or depressed. Maybe you feel you’re alone in your thoughts. The future is unpredictable, and my hope is that I can be that emotional outlet for you and process whatever it is you are going through. I am here for you so let’s get started!

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Brittany Armstrong. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

I’m truly thankful to have Brittany as my therapist. I tried for months to find someone who was the right fit for me and nothing was working out. After my first meeting with Brittany I felt already like I was getting help and hearing things I needed to hear. I looked forward to our next meeting the following week and after that meeting I knew 100% that she was the perfect fit for me. Brittany is a great listener as well as the best person I’ve ever met to understand how I’m feeling, as well as give me advice on how to improve my situation. Even in these last few short weeks I’ve made leaps and bounds in my life because of Brittany and I know that if it wasn’t for her I’d still be at square one. I’m so beyond grateful to know when I’m stressed out I’m able to lean on this platform and message Brittany. She’s truly a gem and I’m beyond thankful to have found her on here because she truly is improving my life !

Brittany has been supportive and listened to everything I had to say. She keeps good notes. She asks a lot of questions but listens and responds to your answers. She is amazing!
