About me

I’m Brittany, a second-generation immigrant and proud Black therapist who approaches the therapy process with empathy, cultural awareness, humility, and intention. I believe therapy should feel like a collaborative and emotionally safe space where you can show up fully as yourself while working toward healing, clarity, and deeper connection.

With 8 years of experience in the mental health field, I specialize in supporting teens, college students, adults, and couples navigating the emotional challenges that impact their relationships, identity, and overall well-being. My approach is warm, affirming, and grounded in helping clients better understand themselves while building healthier patterns of connection with others.

In addition to being a therapist, I am also a board-certified music therapist. I often lean into musical expression and creativity as additional tools for healing, emotional processing, self-exploration, and regulation when words alone may not fully capture the experience. Whether through traditional talk therapy, music-based interventions, emotion-focused therapy, or a blend of all, my goal is to meet clients where they are and create a therapeutic experience that feels authentic and supportive.

My areas of focus include:

Relationship and attachment concerns
Anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and burnout
Identity exploration and life transitions
Trauma and emotional healing
LGBTQIA+ affirming care
Neurodivergent-affirming support
Couples counseling and communication challenges
Creative expression and self-exploration
College and young adult transitions

I recognize the courage it takes to seek support, and I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, understood, and empowered throughout their healing journey.

If you’re ready to begin, I’d be honored to support you.
