About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) based in Chicago, IL. I have 7 years of post-graduate counseling experience, specializing in treating trauma, grief/loss, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, self-harm, and eating disorders. As a counselor, I am passionate about supporting others in empowerment work, connecting with their bodies, and strengthening their creative voices. Together we can identify your individual goals and work collaboratively to achieve them. If you are interested in exploring your creativity, we can use art-making as an additional tool in building insight and self-awareness.

The relationship between therapist and client is important, and I believe that both are equal in creating a safe and supportive relationship. We can work together to develop a client/therapist relationship that fosters safety, healing, growth, and empowerment. I utilize a nonjudgmental, intersectional, and person-centered approach while working together to foster strength, healing, and growth. I believe in meeting you where ever you are throughout each session.

Therapy can be a place to reconnect with parts of your identity and to develop a loving relationship with your whole self. I can support you in fostering self-compassion and strengthening the mind/body connection. In session, we may practice mindfulness, grounding, and self-care techniques as ways to connect with ourselves in the present moment.

I look forward to hearing from you.
